Copper foil is a high-precision, ultra-thin, high-density copper deep-processing product featuring unique advantages such as high strength, high conductivity, high flexibility, and low surface roughness. It is widely used in electronics, 5G, integrated circuits, aerospace, and other fields.
Based on different manufacturing methods, copper foil can be broadly categorized into rolled copper foil and electrolytic copper foil.
Primary foil (also known as rough foil) is produced by repeatedly rolling copper plates through multiple rolling passes. It undergoes roughening treatment according to specific requirements. Due to limitations in copper foil processing techniques, its width rarely meets the demands of rigid copper-clad laminates, resulting in minimal use of copper foil in rigid copper-clad laminates.
